Go Daddy is one of the largest web hosting providers in the world. The main thing that contributed to their popularity is their risky marketing tactics that they have been trying out over the years. Needless to say, they have worked on a lot of people.
However, Go Daddy isn’t your ordinary host and their great marketing tactics sure aren’t what’s going to make them one of the best hosts that the industry has ever seen. There are only a few things that will make them the best host in the world, and that’s what’s going to be covered during this review.
The cheapest price on Go Daddy web hosting is currently $3.99 per month. However, they do like to limit how much storage space you have and they don’t seem to provide any type of customer satisfaction guarantee.
Is it a good deal? Well, it’s definitely not the best web hosting deal that you can get your hands on.
Let’s take a look and see exactly what Go Daddy web hosting is made of by taking a quick look at their features below.
- Free Marketing Credits
- Unlimited Bandwidth
- 24/7 Support
- Free Pre-Installed Website Apps
When I look at their features, I’m a little disappointed to be honest. There are hosts out there who provide their clients with tons of goodies when they sign up, but GoDaddy doesn’t seem to be doing that. It’s definitely not because they’re a small host either, because they are one of the biggest.
Many people who have chosen Go Daddy for their web hosting needs have become the victims of slow web hosting. At least that’s one of the biggest complaints around currently, and this goes to show me that their performance is far from being one of the best in the industry.
Looks like I have to fail them on this section, but I hope GoDaddy can get this under control before it takes a toll on them and proves them to be one of the worst hosts that the industry has ever seen.
From what I have seen, Go Daddy doesn’t seem to provide any sort of uptime guarantee on their web hosting. If they do, they’re website is too complicated when it comes to finding it.
As for the opinions of consumers, many have experienced excessive amounts of downtime as well as unethical business practices. It looks like Go Daddy has went downhill since their beginning days.

Go Daddy offers 24/7 support via e-mail and a toll-free telephone number. Every time I called, it seemed that I spoke with someone based in the United States. Go Daddy hosting seems to have a pretty good support record, but consumer reviews say that they really need to make a little improvement before they can have the best web hosting support in the industry.
I used to love the way that Go Daddy did business. Their marketing tactics are awesome and they used to be one of the better hosts in the industry. However, after seeing how they are today, they are one of my least favorite hosts around.
